There are two conditions necessary for reconciliation to occur. Firstly, the offender chooses to take responsibility for the offence along with the pain it caused and commits to earning back the trust of the offended person. Secondly, the injured person must choose to embark on the journey to forgiveness. Helping parties move to the place of being willing to engage in discussion with each other when they are feeling angry and hurt due to the betrayal, is an art. We are being trusted with this delicate and sensitive but highly rewarding work. When reconciliation is not a reality, then we will help you determine the best alternative. Sometimes parting company with some degree of understanding and closure is the best outcome.
